Dr. Amit Kumar Tamrakar
holds MA, MLISc, PDGCA, ACCP, and Ph.D. He is also qualified of UGC-NET examination. Dr. Tamrakar is presently working as OIC Central Library, Coordinator/HoD Department of Library and Information Science, and Department of History, Sanchi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies- Raisen (Madhya Pradesh). He has rich working experience of 14 years in LIS. Prior to joining SUBIS, Dr. Tamrakar has worked at IIT-Delhi, IIM-Delhi chapter, and KVS. Dr. Tamrakar has published 30 articles in different National and International journals, Conference proceedings. He has also authored a most popular textbook “Modern library management” Dr. Tamrakar is a life member of various professional bodies of library science such as ILA, IASLIC YLA, and MPLA. His current research includes e-resource management, library management, automation of Library applications, and setting up state-of-art modern academic library system.
